Our accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization's commitment to earning and meeting certain performance standards.

We are seeking Psychiatrist's who will survey health care organizations throughout the United States. Applies systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine health care organizations' degree of compliance with applicable standards and functionality of care delivery systems. Engages health care organization staff in interactive dialogues on standards based issues in health care in order to assess compliance and to identify opportunities for improving compliance. Prepares management reports that clearly link individual standards deficiencies with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organization risk points. Effectively communicates this information to health care organization leadership in a constructive and collegial style. Participates in other Joint Commission activities as assigned by supervisor.

Board Certification as a psychiatrist, current professional license in discipline, minimum of 5 years of experience working in various components of a hospital and health care system, 3 years of direct clinical experience and 2 years in management, and knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation process. You must also be able to lift 25 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, work in setting with infectious diseases, and travel nationwide 100percent of work time. Relocation is not required. Fluency in Spanish a plus. Part time positions require two weeks or three weeks per months of availability and intermittent requires one consecutive week of availability. Training is scheduled for September 2nd - 13th, 2011.
